Who would have thought 2020 would go like this?

Since March the World as we know it has changed drastically and has taken its toll on every single industry, every household and every single person. COVID 19 has destroyed lives, industries and livelihoods.
When the Country went in to lockdown in March we lost our Late-night economy overnight, forcing us to adapt in order to keep our staff base in work and not let them fall in to financial hardship.
Staples Facilities Management took on a considerable number of Contracts to make sure that our staff continued to work, we were best placed to assist in making sure the Businesses who stayed open followed the Governments guidelines and kept its customers and partners safe.
For over 34 weeks we have been providing assistance in the Retail sector amongst others, supplying staff to Supermarkets, assisting the in-store staff and customers in reassurance and advice on safe practice to all who came in. Initially the Stores were almost emptied with Panic buyers. Through hard work our teams all over the Country have been the point of contact with Customers, and with the feedback we have been given our Customers have been made to feel welcome and Safe. The General Public adapted amazingly to the ever changes of rules and regulations.
With the Closure of many Industries our Static Sites became 24 hours and increased tenfold, which meant we were responsible for making sure these sites were protected and kept safe until these sites were able to re-open.
Summer came and went without our usual Commitments and our Staff found it difficult not being involved with the Events and Festivals, This Sector was hit hard and even more people lost their livelihoods.
The Pubs re-opened briefly but with the restrictions in place many venues have closed up for the foreseeable future.
The country will go in to another Lockdown as the government Tries to fight this pandemic. As a company we will to continue to deliver, adapt in this ever-changing climate. We will continue to work with our clients, all the agencies across the Country where we work, Leading the Industry in the Security Sector we will continue work with other Companies to help them get through this difficult time.
We have made new connections with other Companies and we like to feel that in most part as an Industry we have all come together for the same reasons in keeping our staff employed so they can continue to provide for their families.
